De ultieme Battlefield 3-simulator, volledig

Een tijdje geleden was er al de teaser voor de Battlefield 3 simulator. Met enige vertraging de volledige aflevering. 17 minuten maar een must watch voor game (en knutsel) fans.

Nickelback

Een van de meest gehate bands ter werled (terecht!) en vanacht treden de Canadezen op Thanksgiving tijdens de rust van de Lions-Packers NFL-wedstrijd in Detroit. Omdat Detroit zelf zo'n rijke muziektraditie heeft rees er een storm van protest op die leidde tot een petititie met ondertussen 55.000 handtekeningen.

Samen met Funny or Die maakte Nickelback dit (grappige) antwoord. Ben benieuwd wat ze er vanavond nog mee doen!

'Brinicle' (Ice Finger Of Death)

With timelapse cameras, specialists recorded salt water being excluded from the sea ice and sinking. The temperature of this sinking brine caused the water to freeze in an icy sheath around it. Where the so-called 'brinicle' met the sea bed, a web of ice formed that froze everything it touched, including sea urchins and starfish.

'The aircraft has the capability to have a number of different systems on board. Mostly, for law enforcement, we focus on what we call less lethal systems,' he said, including Tazers that can send a jolt to a criminal on the ground or a gun that fires bean bags known as a 'stun baton.' 'You have a stun baton where you can actually engage somebody at altitude with the aircraft. A stun baton would essentially disable a suspect,' he said.
